Mr. Lee Pearson was born September 14, 1947 in Caruthersville, Missouri. Robert was the baby boy to the loving parents of Odell Pearson Sr., and Ida Mae Pearson (Lee).

Robert grow up with his siblings Odell Jr., and Ivory in Caruthersville where the family founded and owned their own business Odell Pearson Service Station, which served as a gas station, junkyard, and grocery store. This business was a neighborhood staple where the community could grocery shop, have their car fixed, buy gas and hangout in the store listen to the jukebox(music), sit down drink soda water(pop), and children buy all the candy and snacks they love to eat having friendly chats amongst each other.
Robert and his brother Odell would work in the junkyard and pump gas, he was big brother’s helper being he was younger and their sister Ivory helped in the grocery store. After the passing of their mother, in 1964 that’s when their father Odell relocated his 3 children and grand daughter(Yvette) to Phoenix, AZ.
Robert professed his faith in Christ at Avery young age when he was baptized at Mt Carmel Secondary Baptist Church. Robert graduated from South Mountain High School in South Phoenix, he joined the military shortly after that U.S. Navy served 4 years and received a honorable discharge as a Gunnersmate, then started working in the medical field as an orderly once he returned home, then a few years later he met the love of his life Lillie Owens and her 3 children Josie, Evelyn, and Veldie, in 1977 the couple married and a family was united and later from the children a grand daughter (Shirley) and great grandson (Phillip) completed the family, after getting married he decided to return back to the U.S. Navy where he served 20 years and retired as a Range Master with a honorable discharge, he always felt that was his calling to serve our country and the minority of his career was spend out to sea in which he loved.
Robert loved playing bingo and hitting up every coffee shop in San Diego, him and Aunt Lillie everybody knew them they didn’t meet no stranger just friendly, outgoing and loved helping other. In his past time he enjoyed watching cowboy movies and going to the beach.
“He was one of a kind”, very wise man and loved sharing his wisdom and military stories to family and friends & he could sure make you laugh, just a thrill to be around.
He lived a wonderful & satisfying life no worries just peaceful, he was hardworking and continued working as a Security Guard for many years until he became ill and was under hospice care until his final days.

Robert Lee Pearson is preceded in death by his lovely wife Lillie Pearson (Owens), parents: Odell Pearson Sr., and Ida Mae Pearson (Lee), brother: Odell Pearson, sister: Ivory Manuel (Pearson), Evelyn Owens.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his niece: Yvette Pearson-Jackson ( Kenneth) nephew: James Manuel (Toni), great niece and nephew: Kennesha (Michael), Johnathan (Rachel), Jozef (Kyra), Kenneth II (Celsea), Janay, Jaden and great great nieces and nephews: Izayah, Zariyah, Kenslea, Jordan, Amya, Michael, Iversen, Tamehra, and Bryant. Josie Owens (daughter) Shirley Owens (grand daughter)Veldie Derrett Son), Phillip Tompkin (grandson). He gain 4 nieces who loved him dearly, Yolanda (Tina) Trotter, Beatrice (Bea) Johnson, Drusilla (Spud) Goudeau, Shirley Cherry and a host of family and friends.
