Patrick P. Malone, Sr, a lifelong resident of San Diego, California, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, at the age of 91.

Born on October 8, 1933, in San Diego, Pat devoted his life to faith, family, & hard work. A man of deep integrity & unwavering faith, he was a devout Christian who always had a smile on his face, a joke to share & the most infectious laugh.

Pat shared 72 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Melissa L. Malone. 

He is survived by his 5 children—Patrick, Daniel, Kelly, Joanne & Shawn Malone—who were the pride and joy of his life. Pat was also a loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild. His family meant the world to him.

Pat dedicated the majority of his professional life to the aerospace industry, where he contributed his skills & strong work ethic to a field that shaped the modern world.

His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind & he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private family service will be held to celebrate his life.
