Kathy T. Smith (aka) Virginia Kathleen (Woodruff) Tucker
December 22, 1934 - January 8, 2026

Loving Mother of four children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Kathy was born in Indianapolis, IN and raised in Speedway, IN. She was a graduate of Speedway High School Class of 1952. She married William (Bill) Tull Tucker from Fairland, IN in May of 1958. In 1966 they moved from Wannamaker, IN to Dearborn, MI where they resided until 1973 when they moved to Saline, MI. During her time in Saline, she was employed by Ann Arbor Public Schools as a secretary and later was employed at ERIM (Environmental Research Institute of Michigan.) After a divorce from Bill and all her children having graduated High School, she moved to sunny San Diego, CA where she resided until her death. During her time in San Diego she was employed by General Dynamics in an administrative capacity. She developed a passion for sailing in the San Diego Harbor as well as portrait sketching. She was preceded in death by her Father, Lowell Earl Woodruff, her Mother, Easter Agnus (Smith) Woodruff Sullivan, her Brother Charles Lowell Woodruff, Sr. and ex-husband William (Bill) Tull Tucker. She is survived by her children, Sherri Tucker, Michele (Lou) Puchala Dee (Brian) Kazmier, Michael Tucker, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
